I received one of the new Proto X Nano Quadcopters as a gift this Christmas and I have to say, I haven’t stopped playing with it yet. I’ve seen number of posts about people wishing that it came with a case; I decided to design one myself and upload it to Thingiverse. I don’t have access to a printer at the moment, but it should be pretty accurate(here is to hoping).
I have an ongoing project vehicle(1981 Volvo 240) that is no longer able to use the stock speedometer. I have had some experience with using GPS for my Autonomous vehicle project so I knew it would be really simple to implement a GPS speedometer gauge into my car for very little money.
Follow me on twitter for intermediate updates and interesting discoveries. I will also post small projects that are not fully post worthy here. If you have anything interesting you would like me to see, tweet me at @IHPArchives. Some things may make it into the Archives on this site!
The other night there was a power outage in our area, so naturally all of the flashlights are brought out so everyone is able to see. There have been these crank flashlight hanging around for years, and I actually cannot remember the last time they held a charge. They would light up when you crank them, but the batteries were long gone, or so I thought.
Had all the materials laying around and had a bit of time so I decided to make an 3x3x3 LED cube. Its something I have been meaning to do for a while. Eventually I will move up to 8x8x8 or something huge and more time consuming. For now this is good enough.
